Diamond Island
You Don't Learn the COMPASS by Reading About It.
You Learn It by Traveling.
Diamond Island is the immersive experiential journey at the heart of COMPASS Keys. Sound, story, breath, attention, memory, imagination and pattern recognition become part of a guided exploration of the internal maps we use to navigate our lives.
The COMPASS gives you the map. Diamond Island teaches you how to use it.
THE FRAMEWORK
Four Keys. One Sequence.
A different way of navigating.

THE VOYAGE
Your Transportation Is Waiting.
Before reaching Diamond Island, travelers learn a simple regulation practice and orient to the COMPASS. The journey then moves through voice, story, breath, music, rhythm, imagery, silence and reflection.
Diamond Island is not someone else's interpretation of your psyche. It is a landscape for exploring your own.
What you notice is yours. What you remember is yours. What you choose to carry forward is yours.
ORIENTATION
First, Read the Dashboard.
Stress, exhaustion, recurring relationships, unresolved decisions, resistance, desire and repeating patterns can function like dashboard lights. They are information.
Diamond Island does not begin by asking, "What is wrong with you?"
It begins by asking, "What is the dashboard trying to tell you?"
Take the COMPASS DiagnosticTHE FOUNDATION
Ancient Maps, Contemporary Questions
Diamond Island emerged from Dr. Courtni Hale's doctoral work in Transpersonal Psychology and her broader study of consciousness, stress, mind-body processes and human transformation — alongside more than twenty-five years of experiential and ceremonial study involving sound, symbolism, nervous-system regulation, expanded states and integration.
Her seven years of direct study with Tata Patricio Domínguez and her continuing work with traditional knowledge and ceremonial communities inform every dimension of the Diamond Island experience.
Contemporary areas of inquiry — attention, guided imagery, memory, nervous-system state and memory reconsolidation — offer another language for understanding why certain practices have been meaningful across cultures and centuries.
Humans have developed methods for changing state and exploring unusual modes of perception for thousands of years. Contemporary research gives us another language for asking why some of those practices may be meaningful.
YOUR GUIDE
Meet Astarte.
Astarte is a little blue shooting star — and she needs your help. Somewhere between here and the quantum field, she got lost. She is trying to find her way back, and she cannot do it alone.
Along the way, she will teach you everything she knows — about navigation, about energy, about what it means to remember who you are. The journey back to the quantum field turns out to be the same journey back to yourself.
She has been waiting for you.
The Lost User Manual for the Human Experience
Most of us received instructions for almost everything except ourselves. COMPASS is the map. Diamond Island is where you practice using it. And Astarte is the one who shows you the way.
THE EXPERIENCE
Three Minutes. Take the Trip.
You can read about Diamond Island. Or you can begin to experience it.

FOR FACILITATORS
Why Diamond Island Matters for Facilitators
PMU believes experiential literacy matters alongside intellectual knowledge. Diamond Island provides a substance-free environment for exploring attention, state, imagery, emotion, pattern recognition and integration — while practicing one of the central principles of COMPASS Keys:
The facilitator does not tell another person what their experience means. The facilitator helps them learn how to navigate it.Explore Facilitator Training
The Island Is There.
The COMPASS tells you how to navigate.
You can study the map. Eventually, you have to travel.
We look forward to traveling with you.
